An absolute Joke
I seriously cannot believe we haven't signed anyone in this transfer window. I didn’t particularly want Lingard, but I just don't get my head around the fact that in four weeks, we have not been able to attract any extra personnel. We will not be able to keep pace with any of the competitions we are in with the current squad. They will truly run out of steam.

Re: An absolute Joke
The boy Wood who went to Newcastle would of done a decent job for us i reckon..
He seems to have a good attitude can hold the ball up well get on the end of crosses and defend his own box.
He would of provided good competition for Antonio.
The fact that he is 30 and not prolific probably the prohibitive factors as well as the financial package the Geordies would of offered.

Not signing a striker since getting rid of Haller is an absolute fucking disgrace, and it is the no.1 issue we have. It was so evident today, the manager has to be held accountable.

Re: An absolute Joke
Not signing a striker I can accept - there’s no point spending tens of millions on a player you don’t fancy or paying massively over the odds, but we have other weaknesses that could and should have been addressed. The first got exposed today with a potential injury to Zouma.

Fuck me he has been dog shit for weeks now"

Not Dog shit, more tired, and he's just played 3 games for Jamaica. Still, there's nobody better, Moyes has said so!

Re: An absolute Joke
So we didn’t sign any players because we couldn’t find anyone that improves the squad. Where the fuck were we looking?
Fredericks, Diop, Yarmolenko, Vlasic, Noble, Kral. Fuck me if we can’t get better than that lot then we’re in big trouble next year

"Fuck me; some are going to be gutted if we have a good second half of the season I reckon, going to look like prize pillocks especially if we win something!"

I'm fairly sure they won't have to worry about that.

Eindhoven Hammer Moyes had 4 months to research players and 1 month to put thing into action.

5 Bloody Months!

Lampard was only at Everton for a day and he signed two players. Moyes is like the board, full of fucking shit.

I support everything moyes has done to turn us around but fuck me I am sick of hearing we tried really hard when it comes to transfers. It's just not a good enough excuse. The day GSB leave this club will be one happy fucking day in my house.

There it is. The bi annual "we tried" comment.

Still on the other hand if we don’t do as well as the first half they can tell us with a smug “I told you so” Moyes out etc Mind you got a feeling the cunting will continue as the bar will be set higher in the second half so as to not look such a no nothing if we do well, nothing short of top 4 and at least one cup otherwise Moyes out, its all down to the board not spending in January.

We all have opinions but some of the stuff spouted here has zero evidence or credibility, its just guess work and fantasy with a GSB OUT hat on!

Re: An absolute Joke
The most worrying thing about his statement is our manger doesn't see two positions being weakened when he moves Jarrod into the middle. For starters Jarrod gets very little service from the right unless it's Coufal managing to get up top with an excellent solo run to cross in.......

Re: An absolute Joke
There’s only one chink of hope we can salvage from this disastrous window.
We still have a quality TEAM out there and a few dutiful fillers who could do temporary jobs for us. This may be enough to put up a fight for the remainder of the season. We’re all frustrated because we thought THIS IS OUR TIME; this is the moment to build on the past fantastic 18 months. If we want to build a team around Rice, we need to do it…now. So, with all this behind us, reality tells us we need to get CL to keep Rice. If we can, hopefully we’ll go big in the summer. In my view, we have two real choices: focus all our efforts on winning Europa or all our efforts on 4th spot. Forget the FA cup. Moyes needs to make a decision on which to prioritise and keep that first 11 fresh. No CL will mean our time, our moment will be gone.
Here endeth the stating the flipping obvious.

Re: An absolute Joke
West Ham manager David Moyes reveals: “We probably made three record transfer bids in this January window. The board in this window have been brilliant” “It wasn’t for the want of trying, that’s for sure," Moyes said of the lack of signings. "I didn’t necessarily want to be in the situation where we were bringing players in just because we kept getting it said: ‘You need to buy a striker’. We’ve also got Jarrod Bowen and it would be very difficult to get a better back-up to Micky Antonio than Jarrod."

Mmmm, I assume he means the bids to Leeds or haven't those been debunked as a Sullivan smoke screen? Also is it really difficult to get a better back up re a striker than Bowen?>
